The sky is grey this morning and it's a bit chilly.
It's the time of year when reserves are running low
for local foraging friends.
This hungry squirrel outside my window was diligently gnawing away
at one particular branch this morning. The bark must be particularly
good in this spot.
I promptly retrieved a small bag of sunflower seeds from the cupboard
and spilled the contents at the base of his tree.
We all have to watch out for and help one another.
oh i wish i had one in my garden too!
ReplyDeletewe have been feeding some "bambies" for several weeks now. if i look out of my bedroom window late at night i can sometimes see them...such a pretty animal.
