Thanksgiving
Because all my family live far away I spent Thanksgiving Day with Juncos, Nuthatches, a Dragonfly and an ever chattering Red Squirrel. I took a long walk, built a fire and then reheated a small feast. The little painting is the first in a series.

Yesterday
Yesterday was so dark, cold and rainy I turned on the colored lights in my window. They reflected in the glass and appeared to be strung through the trees outside. Empty jars await the herbs drying in my hallway.
