Random Wednesday

Dogwoods for Coco!

Took my knitting to the park before going into work.
It's the first time I've ever knit a seamless raglan from the top down.
Nothing to sew up later!
: )

And my beloved Norwegian Elkhound, Elgin.
My handsome gentleman who loved to camp, hike and chase turkeys in the woods.
I miss you, Pooh Bear.

Tuesday

The light was so lovely when I left work today I went for a short ride.

The hilltops are green and the farmers are starting to turn their fields.
When I was young I remember this as the best time to 'walk the fields'
looking for quartz and arrowheads in the deep ruts.

And a beautiful card in the mail from a dear friend in Arizona.
She hand cut the stamp, I love the image and will put it in a frame.
Thanks Suzanne!

Sunday

The first photo is of all four cut pages held before a light.
I have six copies cut and now have to make a decision on
binding and end sheets.

It was a cloudy day with steady rain in the late afternoon.
I love a good rainy day.
Started this sweater from Coastal Knits.
The yarn is a bulky organic merino.

A quiet Sunday at home.
Welcome April!
