I think that I've mentioned I manage an art supply store.

The thing I like most about my job is helping the customers.

Today a friend/customer of many years brought in 

one of her friends to buy some watercolor paint.

The friend owns upwards of 60 original Audubon prints 

and was doing some restoration work on them!

We seemed to 'click' and spent a good amount of time chatting about everything!

She is a semi-retired botanist/chemist who teaches graduate students in NYC and

 has literally field upon field of various lily species (she showed me some photos.)

I love the combination of science and art!

A fascinating woman with wonderful stories...

What a great day.
